Team Community Project
As a team, we took an imaginary office with a non-profitable hygiene department, used our knowledge of periodontal therapies, researched fees and insurance coding, and created a program that would change the hygiene department from a money hole to a profit center. Having multiple people on this team helped to make the finished project better than it could have been if done by one person alone. Each team member's contribution was valuable.
We worked together to plan and execute a community project. Together we brainstormed education ideas, activities and our overall goals for the project. This project by itself would have been extremely difficult for one person to complete. Working as a team made it run smoothly and effortlessly.
Teamwork
I have worked in several different teams for projects, presentations, videos, and papers. I believe that working in a team increases the value and quality of the work being done, whether in the classroom or the dental office.
