I am passionate about the advancement of dental hygiene and educating the general population about oral diseases.

I was fortunate enough to serve as our class's American Dental Hygienists' Associate Student Chapter Secretary. Being one of the class officers gave me a much clearer understanding of the benefits and need for membership with the ADHA. Without membership in the ADHA, dental hygienists truly would just be "cleaning teeth." But becuase of the efforts of the ADHA and its members, hygienists are able to provide therapeutic treatment and make a difference in the realm of dentistry.
